New logo for 20th Fuessen junior camp and registration opens for 2018 camps and courses

A full programme of World Curling Federation camps and courses, for 2018, has opened for registration today (Wednesday 31 January). 2018 is a special year for the World Curling Federation as it celebrates the 20th year of its annual WCF / DCV Hummelt Fuessen Junior Curling Camp, in Germany.

A dream come true for Canada's latest curling Olympians

Canada have an impressive haul when it comes to Olympic Winter Games curling medals and not only that, it's never been with the same team twice. Canada women have won medals at every Games since curling returned to the Olympics in 1998. That year, in Nagano, Japan, Sandra Schmirler's team collected the gold medals and in 2002 in Salt Lake City, Kelley Law's foursome took home bronze.

Curling's mixed doubles discipline set for historic Olympic debut

History will be made at the Gangneung Curling Centre at 9:05 on Thursday 8 February when eight qualified pairings step onto the ice to contest the opening games of the Olympic Winter Games PyeongChang 2018 mixed doubles competition. With the opening ceremony taking place on Friday 9 February, this will be the very first action of the entire 2018 Olympic Winter Games.

World Curling Federation position on IPC decision - 29 January 2017

The World Curling Federation acknowledges the decision of the International Paralympic Committee, on Monday 29 January, to allow Russian wheelchair curling athletes to compete as Neutral Paralympic Athletes at the Paralympic Winter Games in March.

Curling brush manufacture, Performance Brush have release the following statement related to their Spider Pad carrying the World Curling Federation Approved Brush Codes P2B1C-1 and P2B1C-2: "We have recently become aware of a flaw undetected in the quality control process in the last few weeks affecting a number of the Spider Pads carrying the code numbers P2B1C-1 and P2B1C-2.

Denmark on digging deep in pursuit of Olympic places

Denmark's women's and men's curling teams secured the very last places at the Olympic Winter Games PyeongChang 2018, when they qualified through the Olympic Qualification Event 2017, in Pilsen, Czech Republic. For skip Madeleine Dupont, it took pulling out one of the shots of her career to secure a win over Italy in the final game in Czech Republic, last December.

A dozen teams chase their Paralympic dreams in PyeongChang - Part One
