WCF, Eurosport and CurlTV.com have partnered to broadcast Le Gruyère European Curling Championships

The World Curling Federation (WCF) is proud to announce to all curling fans that through a partnership with Eurosport and CurlTV.com, the Le Gruyère European Curling Championships 2007 will be broadcast LIVE via the Internet at http://www.curltv.com/ecc2007/ on December 1-8, 2007. Le Gruyère European Curling Championships 2007 will host a new record 55 teams from 32 nations including 23 women’s and 32 men’s teams. The event will host some of the best teams in Europe -- and the world -- including Andy Kapp from Germany, Thomas Ulsrud from Norway, Scotland’s David Murdoch, Peja Lindholm and Anette Norberg from Sweden, and Mirjam Ott from Switzerland. “The World Curling Federation welcomes CurlTV to the Le Gruyère European Curling Championships 2007,” said Les Harrison, WCF President. “Our partnership with CurlTV, along with that of Eurosport and Eurosport.com, will ensure an optimum number of viewers around the world, as they watch one of the most important curling championships on the calendar.”

 

As the official broadband provider for WCF and Eurosport, CurlTV.com will be broadcasting over 20 games online at http://www.curltv.com/ecc2007/. Access to the matches is free for all viewers within the Eurosport region. Those countries that can access free include: Albania, Algeria, Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Belarus, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Georgia, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Iceland, Italy, Jordan, Latvia, Lebanon, Libya, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxemburg, Macedonia, Malta, Moldova, Monaco, Montenegro, Morocco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russian Federation, San Marino, Serbia, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Tunisia, Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom & Vatican.
