10th ANNUAL JUNIOR CURLING CAMP

 

DATES: 29 JUNE - 05 JULY 2008

 

Meet & Greet, Registration: Sunday, 29 June ...16:00 - 17:30

Camp: Monday, 30 June – Saturday, 05 July (13:30)


FEES: Euro € 220.00 includes accommodation, meals, T-shirt, activities and course instruction. To be paid in cash (Euros) at registration.


ENTRIES: Maximum of 120 participants (a basic knowledge of English is required) ... 6 groups of 20 curlers with one Instructor & two Assistants per group. Registration form attached, or provided on the WCF website (www.worldcurling.org)

COURSE CONTENT: The instruction will cover areas such as delivery analysis and development, team communication, strategy, training drills and practice plans, sweeping, ice reading, stone matching, mental preparation and season planning, and the role of team coaches

CAMP RULES
 

  1. Campers will stay in local Youth Hostels.
  2. Transportation is supplied during the Camp, use of private vehicles is not allowed.
  3. The consumption of alcohol is strictly forbidden during the camp.
  4. All campers have a midnight curfew.
  5. Failure to abide by the Camp Rules will result in the camper being sent home.
