Ford World Men's Curling Championship 2015 schedule released

The schedule of play for the Ford World Men’s Curling Championship 2015 has been released by the World Curling Federation.

Twelve of the top men’s curling teams in the world will gather from 28 March to 5 April to compete in the Scotiabank Centre in Halifax, Canada.

Canada, China, Czech Republic, Finland, Italy, Japan, Norway, Russia, Scotland, Sweden and Switzerland have already qualified to play in this year’s event.

Brazil and the USA will compete in an Americas Challenge between 30 January and 1 February which will determine the final qualifying association and confirm the line-up for this year's World Championship. You can follow that event here: http://www.teamusa.org/USA-Curling

The twelve teams will compete in a round robin, with the first session of play taking place at 14:30 on Saturday 28 March.

The round robin concludes on Thursday 2 April. If there are any tiebreakers, they will take place on Friday 3 April, with playoffs scheduled for later that evening.

Further play-offs and the semi-final will take place on Saturday 4 April followed by the bronze medal game at 10:00 and the gold medal game at 16:00 on Sunday 5 April.
