New logo for 20th Fuessen junior camp and registration opens for 2018 camps and courses

A full programme of World Curling Federation camps and courses, for 2018, has opened for registration today (Wednesday 31 January).

2018 is a special year for the World Curling Federation as it celebrates the 20th year of its annual WCF / DCV Hummelt Fuessen Junior Curling Camp, in Germany. To mark this occasion, a new logo has been created for the event - designed by Competitions and Development Officer Scott Arnold with input from the 2016 campers.

World Curling Federation President, Kate Caithness, said: "The camps and courses we run in Fuessen each year are a highlight of the curling calendar and the spaces always fill up very quickly.

"Our development team has done an outstanding job to grow the junior camp year on year and make it a memorable part of many young athletes' careers. We look forward to the continuation of this very successful junior camp over the coming years."

The camps and courses for 2018 so far are:

  • 28 June-2 July: Ice Technician Course - Fuessen, Germany
  • 3-4 July: Advance Umpire Course - Fuessen, Germany
  • 5-6 July: Introduction to Instruction Course - Fuessen, Germany
  • 8-14 July: 20th WCF / DCV Hummelt Junior Curling Camp - Fuessen, Germany
  • 26-30 August: 12th WCF Adult Curling Camp - Prague, Czech Republic
