Zoetermeer, Netherlands to host 2014 European Curling Championships C-Group

The World Curling Federation (WCF) has announced that Zoetermeer in the Netherlands will host the European Curling Championships C-Group between 6-11 October 2014. The event will be held in the Silverdome, a multi-purpose ice rink and events venue in Zoetermeer, near Rotterdam.

WCF World Rankings season 2013-2014 released

The World Curling Federation has released its latest world rankings, following the conclusion of the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games and the 2014 World Curling Championships. The latest rankings can be seen and downloaded here: www.worldcurling.org/rankings-men-and-women In the women’s ranking, Canada moves up to the top spot, with Sweden moving down to second.

World Curling Federation announce hosts for 2014-15 events

The World Curling Federation has announced the hosts of the World Junior Curling Championships, European Junior Curling Challenge, European Mixed Curling Championship and World Wheelchair Curling Qualification Event for the 2014-15 curling season.

The World Curling Federation (WCF) announced today that Canada’s Randy Ferbey, Switzerland’s Patrick Huerlimann and Norway’s Eigil Ramsfjell were inducted into the World Curling Hall of Fame.

CPT World Men's Curling Championship 2014 begins Saturday

Ford World Women’s Curling Championship 2014 – Bronze Medal Game

Russia made curling history on Sunday at the Ford World Women’s Curling Championship in Saint John, Canada, winning the Bronze medal game 7-6 in an extra end against Korea. The win marked the first time that Russia has won medals at World Women’s Championship level.
