With a 10-4 win over the United States in Friday morning's men's fourth round-robin session at the Olympic Winter Games PyeongChang 2018, Sweden joined Canada - who sat out the session - at the top-of-the-table, with three wins.

The other two games of this session saw Denmark and Norway both record their first wins so far - Denmark beating Italy by 6-4 and Norway winning by 7-5 over Korea. Great Britain, Japan and Switzerland sat out this session, as well as Canada.

Sweden had the perfect start against United States, scoring four points in the first end and then stealing a single point in the second end for a 5-0 lead. United States could only score single points in the third and fifth ends, giving Sweden a 7-2 lead at the break. The Swedes maintained their dominance after this, and United States conceded the game at 10-4 to Sweden after the eighth end.

Denmark opened their game against Italy with a score of two points in the first end and scored two again in the third end for a 4-1 lead. In the middle part of the game, Italy fought back and reduced Denmark's lead to 4-3 with a single-point steal in the sixth end, but a further score of two points in the ninth end was enough to seal Denmark's 6-4 win, when Italy could only score one point in the tenth end.

Norway gave up a single steal to Korea in the first end of their game, but recovered with two points in the second end. The Norwegians then went on to score two more points in the fifth end for a 4-2 lead at the halfway point. A further score of two points in the eighth end and one in the tenth produced Norway's 7-5 win.

With these wins, Denmark and Norway join a four-team pile-up in joint sixth place, along with Switzerland and United States, with only Korea yet to record a win.
