Sport Media Trainee Programme winners confirmed for 2015/16

The World Curling Federation (WCF) is delighted to announce the winners of its Sports Media Trainee Programme for the 2015/16 curling season.

The winning candidates will join the WCF Media and Communications Team at curling championships over the next six months.

  • Trainee Journalist: Patrick Butler (Carleton University, Canada)

  • Trainee Photographer: Laura Godenzi (University of Lugano, Switzerland)

  • World Junior Curling Championships 2016 (Erzurum, Turkey)
    5-13 March

  • Trainee Journalist: Julia Poe (University of Southern California, USA)

  • Trainee Photographer: Marissa Dederer (Loyalist College, Canada)

  • TV Production Trainee: Aaron Renfree (University of Lincoln, England)

  • World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship 2016 (Karlstad, Sweden)
    16-23 April

  • Trainee Journalist: Emily Dwyer (Mount Saint Vincent University, Canada)

  • Trainee Photographer: Hamish Irvine (Leeds College of Art, England)

  • TV Production Trainee: Linzi Armstrong (University of the West of Scotland, Scotland)
