VoIP Defender retain World Junior’s title

VoIP Defender, the USA and Singapore based Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) brand, will support the World Curling Federation’s (WCF) flagship junior event – the VoIP Defender World Junior Curling Championships 2017 (WJCC) – for another year.

This one-year extension of the title sponsorship will cover the 46th edition of the WJCC, which in 2017 will also act as a test event for the 2018 Olympic Winter Games (OWG), in PyeongChang, Korea.

WCF President Kate Caithness, welcomed today’s news saying, “It is with great pleasure that we retain VoIP Defender as title sponsor for our World Junior Curling Championships 2017, an event which will be broadcast to a global audience and showcase the best young curling talent from around the world.”

The VoIP Defender World Junior Curling Championships will see the ten best junior men’s and women’s curling Member Associations come together to compete for the respective men’s and women’s titles between 16 and 26 February 2017 in the Gangneung Curling Centre.

The Gangneung Curling Centre will also host the Men’s, Women’s, Wheelchair and for the first-time the Mixed Doubles medal events at the 2018 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games between 9 and 25 February 2018 (for the OWG) and 9 and 18 March 2018 (for the PWG).
