Winners of WCF Sports Media Trainee Programme

The World Curling Federation (WCF) is delighted to announce the winners of the first phase of our Sports Media Trainee Programme for the 2014-15 curling season.

The winning candidates will join the WCF Media & Communications Team at Le Gruyere European Curling Championships 2014 in Champery, Switzerland between 20-30 November.

Trainee Journalist:
Sarah Lane - who is studying at University of Georgia, USA.

Trainee Photographer:
Flannery Allison - who is studying at Rochester Institute of Technology, USA.

Trainee TV Production:
Jordan Schenkelberg - who is studying at SAIT Polytechnic, Canada.

The second phase of the programme will open in January 2015 to find one trainee journalist and one trainee photographer to join us at the World Junior Curling Championships 2015 in Tallinn, Estonia between 28 February to 8 March.

We will also be seeking one trainee journalist and one TV production trainee to join us at the World Women's Curling Championship 2015 in Sapporo, Japan between 14 to 22 March.
