World Junior-B Curling Championships 2018 into play-off stages

The World Junior Curling B-Championships 2018 round-robin stage has now concluded and the event moves into the play-off stages.

The women’s quarter-finalists, which are now underway are:

  • Norway v Latvia
  • Italy v New Zealand
  • China v Germany
  • Hungary v Turkey.

    The men’s quarter-fianlists are:

  • Russia v New Zealand
  • Italy v Germany
  • Japan v Slovakia or Spain
  • Hungary v China.

    The men’s quarter-finals are 19:00 today (Tuesday 9 January). The winners of all the quarter-final games will go onto play in the semi-finals at 09:00 on Wednesday 10 January. All times are Eastern European Time.

    This event – taking place in the Kisakallio Sports Institute – qualifies the final three women’s and three men’s teams for the World Junior Curling Championships to be held in Aberdeen, Scotland between 3 and 10 March 2018 – immediately after the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games.
