World Wheelchair Curling Championship 2019 promotes #CurlClean outreach

  • Curl Clean Outreach Programme to visit Stirling

The World Curling Federation will deliver its #CurlClean programme once again, at the World Wheelchair Curling Championship 2019, in Stirling, Scotland, after two successful campaigns at the World Junior Curling Championships.

The programme created three years ago, in partnership with the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), is designed to assist International Federations in delivering sustainable anti-doping awareness programmes for their athletes. Curlers are invited to share the onsite activations on social media throughout the championship and use the hashtags #CurlClean and #PlayTrue when posting.

Athletes and coaches are encouraged to visit the WADA Outreach Booth from Saturday (2 March) to Tuesday (5 March) to learn more about the #CurlClean campaign and WADA.

To engage with the World Curling Federation on social media during the World Wheelchair Curling Championship 2019 follow it on Twitter, Instagram (@WorldCurling) and Facebook (/WorldCurlingFederation) and use the hashtags when posting: #WWhCC2019 #curling #CurlClean #PlayTrue
